Shaista Javeed,

a devoted educator originally from India, has spent over 35 years shaping minds and guiding hearts across California’s public, charter, and private schools. With deep roots in her faith and an unwavering commitment to community, she has long championed the right of every child to receive tuition-free, high-quality education.

Her passion led to the establishment of CORE – a place where learning is more than a lesson, and education is a path with purpose. Through free programs grounded in compassion and character, she seeks to plant seeds of hope and integrity in the hearts of children and youth. For Shaista, a flourishing community is one built on knowledge, faith, and the quiet strength of righteousness.
